 At the moment, this is in very early stages, I am writing the script from scratch in GameMaker8, and have got the basic Pokemon System working, e.g walking, talking, going into houses... It will take a while, but I want to put a lot of effort into it ;D

Why is this thread in the hack display? Shouldn't it be in the General Board? Its not a hack. BTW I also use Game Maker 8.

I agree. By the way since this game is being created with Game Maker 8, it's not really considered a ROM hack so i guess i'll move it to another forum.

Hey guys, Thanks for the support  I'm gonna add another quick screenshot, so you know the project is still moving along, and to show you the basic look of the game I havn't programmed in the touch screen section yet, I'm trying to get all the maps and general stuff working first I'll try and upload more screenies over the weekend |

I like the screenshot. The buildings, background and all those things have the B/W feel, whereas, the other Overworld sprites like the player, the Pokemon, the different characters have the D/P/Pt feel to them.

It looks like a mixture of the DS games. Although, it doesn't really look like a 3DS game.

I should say, The big game cover is just art, it only says 3ds because that was the only template i had at the time, as for 3D, when i get all the mechanics working, i MAY decide to make the buildings and stuff 3D or 2.5D if you prefer |
